From the first day you join the TDS Technology internship program, you’ll be working as part of a global team at one of the world's largest banking institutions.

We are looking for under graduates (2nd year/ Penultimate year students) that thrive under pressure and can adapt to changing situations. You will also be required to work closely with colleagues from other divisions and other regions across TD Securities daily.
We have opportunities within the below divisions of the bank's regional technology team:

  • FI e-Trading Development
  • e-infrastructure KDB Development
  • Pricing and Risk Development
  • Model Documentation
  • Production Engineering

Who YOU Are

We are looking for non-final year students (graduating in 2025) who thrive under pressure and can adapt to changing situations. To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • A genuine interest in finance and technology.
  • Experience in computer programming languages and concepts (e.g. Java, Javascript etc).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A current degree programme in Maths, Computer Science, Engineering or Business Studies.
  • A natural curiosity and interest in current affairs.
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment across teams and regions and deliver accurate results under time pressure.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on being a team player.
  • A willingness to learn and demonstrate a growth mindset.
  • Business-level fluency in English.
  • Graduating in 2025.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Data Analytics knowledge
  • Intermediate Programming knowledge in Java:-
  • Java coding and debugging
  • Javascript experience (ideally React or other JavaScript frameworks like Angular, or Vue, etc)
  • Additional skills
  • Experience with BigData tech like Spark, Kafka, HDFS
  • API design and/or GraphQL
  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies and architectures.
