We are seeking interested applicants to have achieved or be expected to achieve a degree in Computer science, Computer networking, Software engineering, Telecommunications, Cyber Security or a related subject– that’s it!.... no prior experience needed.

Your Graduate scheme

You’ll be joining the Operation Technology Team that are deemed business critical with their high availability and functionality being key in how we monitor, maintain and optimise our distributed assets

Your role will include supporting and developing of the Operational Technology estate within DCWW, including applications, core infrastructure and communications networks

Your Development:

As a part of your programme, you will take part in a number of soft skills workshops, including the following:

• Managing Difficult Conversations

• Project Management

In addition, you will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with your fellow graduates, such as organising, developing and running a conference event for the Institute of Water. This will allow you to develop your interpersonal and leadership skills, whilst working collaboratively with your peers.

You will also be given the opportunity to work on key business projects within your specialised field.

Good to know

Your graduate scheme will primarily be based South-East Wales. However, on occasions and with notice you may be expected to travel to sites across the whole of Wales and its borders.

Recruitment process - Upon application, you will receive a short behavioural assessment to complete. This should take 15-20 minutes. Should your application meet our criteria, the second stage of assessment will be an in-person assessment centre, which likely take place at our head office (Cardiff) between February/March 2024. Further information will be provided closer to the time.
